What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Wisconsin
My wife was stopped for OWI offense, the police in searching the vehicle found her prescription bottle of Alprazolam (Xanax) in a Walgreens pill botlle.
She had the prescription from her physician, but the label had warn off the bottle. The police took the bottle to Walgreen pharmacy who identified the pills as Alprazolam (Xanax) which they consider a Schedule IV controlled substance. In the complaint the police never asked my wife if she had a prescription for the medication.
We have to reply to the Summons.

What wording do we need to reply?
She has a legal presciption from her doctor, which she has a copy of and she has a copy of the purchase records from Walgreens to prove she purchased them legally.
