3 weeks back I was charged with a possession of marijuana (1 gram) and a paraphernalia. The tickets combined to about $650, and I was wondering what I can/should do to reduce the penalty. I'm 17 years old, have a 100% clean record. Is the price on the ticket nonnegatioable? Can you apply for community service to pay for the ticket? I'm working on my eagle project for scouting and my father mentioned I should ask the judge if I can implement that into my hearing at all. The court hearing is in 15 days and I havn't contacted anyone or done anything at all due to the fact I was in France till now.
