Could use a little more descriptive? The term "without prejudice" means the action can be restarted at a future time. In a criminal matter, it means things have not progressed far enough to trigger the provisions of the "double jeopardy" protections of the constitution. In the case of civil action, it means that there has not been a decision made and the case may be refiled.
