What is the name of your state? FL

Im trying to get some information on the legality of selling PDE5 inhibitors (like Viagra, cialis, etc.) as research chemicals on the internet. There seems to be a sort of grey area in the law here. From what I understand, it’s apparently legal to sell these things for the intent of research?

So my question is, are internet sites that sell these drugs as research chemicals legal so long as they put up a “for research only” disclaimer? And what about the buyers? Are the buyers in violation of the law if they buy one of these products that are being sold for research, with the intent of getting it for personal use?

You're not going to get help here on how to break the law. Once you do so, though, feel free to come back and ask how much trouble you'll be in. Don't forget to list the statutes that you were charged with violating.

Im not asking how to break the law. Im asking if these sites that sell such things are legal, and if it's legal to buy them or not.

Those sites are not selling what they are advertising.

They are selling sawdust, aspirin, sweepings off the floor, etc.

See, I was under the impression that knowingly selling fake meds was definitely illegal. And that if these sites sold the real thing for research, then it supposedly was legal (I assumed).

?
so, who told you that it is legal to do such a thing and what specific laws are you speaking of that contain this "grey" area.

Citing a few statutes would be a good thing if you want to retain any credibility since you did bring up the point about the grey area. That statement would cause one to presume you have done some actual research into this.

Other than that it sounds like you are on a fishing expedition with a lot of BS to back you up.

Look, I came here to get information regarding the law pertaining to these sites that are all over the place selling prescription meds as "research chemicals". A simple explanation of the law in regards to this area was all that needed to be given. If you guys don’t want to answer my question, then do me a favor and just don’t reply instead of trying to flame the newbie for asking a LEGAL question on a LEGAL forum.
