My question involves criminal law for the state of: New York

The other day I was driving up to the adirondacks/vermont to visit with some friends. i was taking the thruway up to the northway. so apparantly there is a 55 mph section of the northway (the whole thruway is 65 i though), and i was cruising at 80 with a line of 4 or 5 cars. i was smoking a blunt, but it wasn't having an effect on my driving skills since it helps me concentrate. so i see a cop pull out from a speed trap and i know that i'm caught. long story short he got me going 81 in a 55 (i honeslty thought it was a 65), and gave me a UPM for about 6 grams of some weed. he actually broke my car looking for more weed, despite the fact that he found the bag right in a backpack, and i told him i never really smoke that much. i had a bottle of vodka which he took and abnout 6 dutches (blunts) since i am under 18. he didnt charge me with possesion of alcohol or driving under the influence, since i guess i passed the sobriety test (go from d-s in the alphabet). this is my first time i've ever gotten in trouble for anything, speeding, drugs. so i have a upm and a speeding ticket in the town of colonie, about an hour away from my house. for one thing, i am trying to not have my parents find out. not because i'm worried about their reaction, just because i feel this is all my fault and trhere is no reason to involve them.

for the speeding ticket should i plead guilty?

and for the possesion: so will i just get 6 months of acd since im 17? this seems to be what most of my friends have received. is there a way to just pay a fine for the upm instead of acd (obviously its a fine for the speeding ticket). also, would they really give me community service over an hour away from where i live? or would it be moved to my town, or not at all... thanks, any help would be apprecaited.

i read on norml the max fine for first time possesion under 25g i think is only 100 fine. that's good but will it be different if im under 18? i would rather pay any fines than comm. service or an acd.

tests have proven marijuana actually increases awareness while driving. also, are you really that conceded that you refuse to help someone with a differing opinion than you?
