DOES ANYONE EVER ANSWER???????
Virginia--My husband was thrown against a car one night, upon arrivin at a friends house. They searched him, didnt read him his rights, found a pipe, and a small amount of pot, took it and let him go. TRied to get him to tell on some people, threaten to charge him with cocaine possesion, since there was residu in the pipe. A year later, they printed it in the paper he was being arrested for cocaine possesion. After READING this in paper, he called the jail and turned himself in. He tried to call when they came by the house but the narc man, wsnt ever home. ANyway, his lawyer told him to take first offender..was put on probation, given drug test, failed for pot, went back to jail, convicted felon, spent about 45 in jails, out about ONE month, on probation for 2 years. Was only given a year sentence, which most was suspended, UNTIl he violated probation. Again, suppose to be tested tomorrow. WIll not pass, because of pot. HOw can someone who actually had NO cocaine be given more time... than someone who actually had onced on them???? And, if and what can he do..so he doesnt have to serve the rest of the year,,,is there anything???? Being as he took his lawyers advice, and took 1st offender, the Judge can do whatever he wants with him.. WIll they ever legalize pot...whats the differnce , u come home from a long hard day at work, have a drink or smoke a joint...ohh ya...smokin is illegal...GET real...alcohol is more dangerous and makes u do worse things than pot ever could, or would....SOMEthing has got to be done...People like my husband, are makin the cops, lawyers and courts RICH>....HELP!!!
