What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida
How far has the supream court looked into the Mens rea for this offence?

No court "looks into" laws. The Judges on the Supreme Court (and I don't know if you mean the FL Supreme Court of SCOTUS but it doesn't matter) don't just pick a law that week to examine at and decide if it's Constitutional. Somebody has to bring a case before them.

Why would the Supreme Court get into a challenge of mens rea for trafficking Oxy? Are you saying that there are people out there selling and distributing these controlled substances that have no idea that doing so is wrong and illegal?

I'm sorry, but IMHO, the personal sob story of the disenfranchised individual who sells drugs to support their families is no excuse. There are legitimate methods of earning money that don't involve trafficking in illegal drugs. Maybe not quite as lucrative, but certainly not something that would end up landing you in prison for many, many years (and so much for supporting the family behind bars).
