What is the name of your state? NY----The case is in Texas.[/U]
My son was found guilty of conspiracy to traffic drugs..None of the drugs were in his possession but since he was with the men who did he was found guilty as well. He has seven years to go on his sentence.

[/He was serving his sentence at Ft. Dix Federal Prison in NJ but was transferred to Reeves County Federal Prison, Pecos, TX in April of this year.
He has been ill since just before being transferred and has not been seen by a urologist as promised and is being given Ibuprofen for what may be an enlarged prostate. He is in a great deal of pain having all kinds of problems. He is not an American citizen..

When he was in NJ I was able to visit him and check on him..Now he is in TX and it might as well be the moon because I cannot travel there as my income as a cleaning lady is barely enough to pay the rent.

My question is: Can something be done to have him transferred back to the east coast, maybe to where he was before or to NYS. I would be able to travel to see him and see about his health.

Thank you.

No, I am not a doctor, I am the prisoners' mother. My son had been told that a urologist would see him. I don't know if that meant being taken to the hospital or the doctor coming to the prison, but this was back in April...He has yet to be seen by the specialist. There is something there as he was asked for his medical records and they were sent for..They are in his possession.

In the meanwhile he is being treated with ibuprofen which only eases the pain a little bit but does nothing to take care of the problem. I called last night and was asked to call back Saturday afternoon. I begged for him to be seen and treated..

What else can be done?
