Went to court on previous explained case....it was a tiny Mayberry setting. Brother went up there to plead NO CONTEST to which the judge explained he could be taken to jail right away and advised him to plead not guilty.My husband of course pleads NOT GUILTY or was subject to $1,000 dollar fine and six months in jail! He asked for public defender help and was told he couldnt have it appointed because he had a job....NOW WHAT? We have 4 kids and a house payment along with other bills and can't afford an attorney. If he goes to jail for six months-then we lose everything-all because of this b.s.! And he has never had any prior convictions.
