10 year old dwi

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? maryland.... I received a dwi in virginia 10 years ago..I was a homeless veteran living on 570.00 a month..I was tried in absentia and fined 1.000 dollars.My license were flagged in Maryland and have not been able to drive for ten years...I wrote the Judge asking for a reduction nor a new trial..He stated that there was nnothing to be done since sentence had been set..I am now 57 years old ..the ticket is over two thousand dollars..I cant get decent work because I have no license ..What are my options
