1ST DUI, CA, License Revoked

What is the name of your state? CA

My brother (20) was pulled over because he was swerving in the lane. He had gone to Tijuana Mex. and had been drinking. When he was pulled over he was arrested for DUI. He got a lawyer. The lawyer told him he would represent him at the DMV and the trial. The lawyer had an over the phone hearing and they suspended his license. His lawyer is not returning his call at the moment but I would like to know how to go around obtaining a restricted license so that he can go to and from work?

- DMV should have told him what the requirements were to get a restricted license. However, he will more than likely have to finish his dui classes and pay his fines prior to getting a restricted license.
