1st time offense

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NC

so i gotta DWI with a .12 BAC, i get my license back in 30 days. Is it a guarantee that the court will revoke my license for a year or so after i get them back?

The 30 days is a DMV sanction for failing the BAC.
When you go to court on the DUI charge, the judge will suspend you for a year. (The two are unrelated, they might overlap, they might not).
