What is the name of your state (connecticut)?
I am looking for information regarding 2nd dui first occurred 6 years ago and completed classes and it is expunsed from the court system, but not within dmv and 2nd just occurred just recently. My question is as follows.
How do I retain my Cdl with out losing it for life, since both incidences were while I was driving my personal vehicle and not a commercial vehicle? Dmv gave me 10 months for driver licences and life for CDL. Is there a possibility to get a class 1 dropped to a class 2 licences with possiblity of a suspended licenced for 1 year? I was asked if I wanted to appeal this to a higher court, what would be the possible advantage of this, an is there a good possibility of reinstatement of Cdl after 1 year? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

cdl

Unfortunately MCSIA governs cdl regulations on a federal level. You can search
MCSIA but i'm pretty sure it is nationwide. If you are convicted of 1 dui or breath test refusal whether in your personal vehicle or not you lose cdl for 1 year.A second conviction or refusal of breath test in a personal vehicle is a lifetime revokation. In my state Massachusetts you can appeal in 10 years, but you must have completed a state approved treatment program.Even this is not a guarantee you will be reinstated,it's up to the rmv.
