What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? AZ
Hello everyone, I am so nervous my husband goes to court today and he was recently pulled over as an aggrivated dui because his license was revoked from the prior dui and he did not have the court ordered interlock device in his car. I am so worried and I need to know what to expect and if getting a lawyer was the choice we should have made.

any advice?

Expect some jail time, and loss of license, and extended alcohol treatment.
He needs a good lawyer, or the DA is going to eat him alive.
After all this is done, you may consider moving to another State.

Getting a lawyer was probably the one right choice anyone made in this entire situation, but even then, he probably (hopefully) won't be able to prevent your drunkard husband from doing some time.
