2nd time dui


What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

i got my first dui on oct 2007 went to court and they told me take a course of a few months, and was put on probation for 3 years without a probation officer, i stoped going to the proram they sent the court papers of my absence and they sent me a warrant for my arrest, so then oct 2008 i got a second dui and then i went to a different court they sentenced me, they gave me jail time for 72 days but im working them out on weekends. but now i have to go to the first court because of my warrant, i want to know whats going to happen now, do i need to get a layer to help me with my case?

You need a lawyer.

What was the sentence hanging over your head in the first case?

You need to start going to Alcoholics Anonymous and get a sponsor.

You have an alcohol addiction.

It's too bad that AA won't likely help him.
