3rd Offense

What is the name of your state? CT
MY SISTER'S BOYFRIEND HAD A 3RD OFFENSE AND LOST HIS LICENSE PERMANENTLY 4YRS AGO. SOMEONE TOLD ME THAT "PERMANENTLY" ISNT NECESSARILY TRUE. IS THERE A WAY HE CAN GET HIS LICENSE BACK?

"Permanent" loss of license normally isn't technically permanent. After a certain period of time, you are eligible but only for reinstatement - you don't get it back automatically. A "permanent" loss of license continues forever until the driver has taken the necessary steps to be reinstated. If your sister's boy friend is uncertain of the date he is eligible to get license back (get license reinstated) during a loss of license, he should contact the DMV of your state & they can tell him the date & the conditions that must be met.
