What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? florida...issue in Colorado.
A month ago my husband attempted to renw his drivers licence here in florida. he was told two states (OR & CO) had outstanding tickets he must pay first. After Oregon (paying the fine) and colorado (paying the fine) the santions from colorado still hadn't been lifted. Further court contact found that a dui, driving under revocation, dui per se from 2000-2002 were missed. they want my husband to plead guilty to this, waive his rights, and pay a 500 dollar fine. Isn't there a statuate of limitations? won't this put points on his licence(which has been in florida since 2002) and increse our auto insurance?

Statute of limitations ends as soon as the cop hands you the ticket.

Your story is showing up more and more in the last year as the various motor vehicle departments get hooked up together with computers.
