Arraingment or HearingWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? I was arrested in Nevada. Stopped for speeding and then was asked "how many drinks did you have". I responded saying several. They asked me to get out of my car and then gave me a field test. Breathalizer test showed me over the limit. I spent 2 days in jail and got out on bail. I never saw a judge but was told I had to be in court July 20, 2009. I currently live in New Mexico. I have a job and an apartment. I work nights. My question is, is this court date on the 20th my arraignment or my hearing? |

| It is almost certainly an arraignment. Failure to show could result in a arrant for your arrest. - Carl
