What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

So, I signed up to coach my son's 4-year-old soccer team through the YMCA.

I have to go through a crimminal background check. Will a prior DWI arrest disqualify me?

I would think they are looking for Chester's, assaults, etc.

I agree with Zinger. In a youth soccer league I coach in, a DUI would certainly be disqualifying on the background check. But, in a kid's camp for disaffected youth I volunteer for, they are only worried about violence or sex arrests.

Each organization sets their own criteria. You've got to ask.
