Can I do this?

What is the name of your state?NJ
If I am pretty sure I'm going to lose my license in NJ for a 3rd DUI offense, can I get a license in PA while I await my court date? If I can prove residency and turn in a vaild NJ Driver License before my date, will it work? This way I can actually drive in PA and get a job.

Generally, when you get a license in another state they will have you surrender the license from your previous state.

If you lie and say you didn't have one, they will probably not believe you. But if you are convincing enough, you will have a license that will only be good until somebody finds out, and then you'll be in even more trouble for lying to the PA DMV and driving while revoked.

When I go to get the license, I still have a valid NJ license so I will turn in that one.

Will my PA license be invalid if I have get pulled over? How will they know otherwise? Do the states communicate with eachother someway?
