Can I still go to law school?

California

I got a DUI in Texas in 2006, pleaded guilty.

I was arrested in Texas 2007 for domestic assault but the charges were dropped.

I'm interested in going back to school for law in California. Is there a way for me to find out if the bar would not allow me to take it?

(However, given your research skills, you might want to consider an alternate career).

There could be problems, but time heals all. You can go to law school and take the bar, it is the moral background where the problem will lie.

Fill out the paperwork. Take it to an attorney with expertise in the Bar to review, or pay the fee and submit it. See what they say. If you don't pass, then you have the right to review where you will find you exactly why and what they need.
