Car insurance implications stemming from a DWI

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

How much (percentage wise) can I expect my car insurance to raise due to my first DWI? I'm currently with State Farm and have been so for 15 years and have never had a ticket on my record of any sorts. I have two cars on the policy, my home and personal property. Will my past driving record and multiple insured lines play a role at all?

I would guess anywhere from -100% to 1,9798.3% (give or take)

We don't have a crystal ball. Ask your agent.

Oddly, my St Farm policy's premiums never went up as a result of my first/last offence DUI in Florida. I've read that it's a hit or miss thing, but I think I just somehow lucked out and that most people see a major increase. I have read that many insurance companies run license background checks every few years on policy holders, but mine somehow was missed.

(I'm not complaining)

My story with state farm is similar to BigMistakeFl's. I had a few speeding tickets over the years, and my premiums never increased on those, all of which save one included points. I caught a DUI in July 2008, haven't seen an increase for it yet.
