Charged with selling to minor son and disordly conduct after dui

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? california

My ex husband got a dui orange county 3 yrs. ago. This past month he was charged with selling alcohol to a minor (it was our son) and disordly conduct, he was extrememly drunk, they were both sitting a car, my ex was passenger in the parked car. They both went to jail overnight. This past insident was in San Bernadino county. When my ex goes for his arraigment will the judge from San Bernadino know his past DUI and jail history from Orange COunty? Also, could he face jail time? He is no longer on probation for the DUI.

**A: I am terribly disappointed. Why in the world would he sell to your son.
Your son deserves free booze. What is the matter with your ex?

My son is 20 and he has a alchole problem too. I am so sick about this. This has been going on for a couple years and this is the first time my ex got caught. I just hope my ex gets some jail time for once.

If the charges and the past incident are from the same state that the judge will most likely be aware of his past.Basically, now you should retain counsel and wait to see what plea is offered. Hopefully time to serve will not be it.I am sure some others will be more familiar with Ca. state laws and mandatory sentences.goodluck.

Information on his local and state criminal history will be available to the court. However, at the arraignment, they may not be concerned about it unless there is some argument about continuing bail or some related issue.
