Clear your DUI - Is this a hoax?

I was just wondering if anyone had any knowledge or experience about this website: http://www.duiprocess.com/
They say on there that you can clear your DUI record with 8 simple steps if you buy their book. Is this for real- it seems like a hoax to me. Is it actually possible to clear your DUI record in any way?

It is possible to clear most any misdemeanor conviction from a criminal record with a lot of effort and some money. It is harder to clear it from DMV records.

And while it is possible to clear it from criminal records, it is not very likely that a court will do so. So the e-book advertised MIGHT provide SOME helpful information, but it is certainly not going to result in a clearing of your record without greater expense and more effort.

At a quick glance.... It looks legit. Here's why...

First, i found several dui lawyers that promote them, check this link out:

http://georgia-dui-attorneys.com/resources.html

Also, I checked to see how long the website has been up and running. It's been there for about 2 years it seems and they have their address posted. The address seems to receive payments so you know that it's their real address.

If it were a hoax they wouldn't have lasted as long as it has and they wouldn't have attorney's promoting them. I would definitely email them before ordering to ask some questions about what their info can do for you, but it seems legit.

Hmmm...your nick is a tad too similar, not to mention you are clearly the OP pimping the site.

Talking from exeperience, you can get your DUI removed from your record. When I was 19, I got one, got myself a lawyer and he got it expunged. It was a lot of work though. But ask a lawyer about it they will know what to do to get rid of it. In IL, all I had to do was, pay my fines, take a DUI class and be evaluated for to see how many hours of dui class I need to take, I got a judicial driving permit to allow me to drive to school and work. It was a pain in the butt, but I just got a new job that ran an extensive background check on me, and I passed with flying colors. I didnt' have much money at the time, so my lawyer let me make payments to him to pay the 1500 it took for him to get this thing expunged. it's worth it, you should get a lawyer.

(QUOTE)You need to always protect yourself, because no one else will do it for you. We here at the Information Association never let our fate get decided by anyone else but ourselves(QUOTE)

This is a quote from that site. The reality of drunk minds .

In fact, you are so astonishingly correct in this matter, it will not surprise us one bit if you are offered a generous settlement, because, by golly, that’s just how it should be.

Again, you are spewing negativity? I think you were molested as a baby or something.

Actually the site looks helpful. Best advice to anyone looking at it is to make your own decision. If you don't like what you get ask for your money back.

Paradise obviously wants to keep everyone else down with him as in each and every post all he does is supply a negative comment by "quoting" something and spinning it out of context.

It's the reality of his/her drunk mind.

Please don't worry about me, I have wonderful parents. I was never molested and I have a huge healthy family. I take no offense to your comment, one has to consider the source.

I am a she, my screen name is PARIDISE, and I quoted it off your site. Did I hit a nerve? Again, this is an old post that should fade into the sunset.

Your anger continues to show through.

No, this site isn't mine... I've posted after you on a few different threads. You make people want to oppose your views because you are so negative.

Think to yourself... do people really appreciate the comments I make on this board? Have I really provided 'any' value to anyone here?

Again, why do you hang around the board and post negative thoughts and comments on EVERY thread. Most people are here to trade FREE ADVICE that's the concept. Not free NEGATIVE advice.

Try to be a little more positive, and life will improve for you.

I am the owner of the website www.duiprocess.com and I'm glad to have found this message board. I hope to contribute and provide whatever help I can as I do have alot of experience with the drunk driving law topic.

As far as all the comments posted so far, my website is definitely not a hoax it is very real and has helped many people.

I think each person needs to decide what's right for themselves and I'm certainly not here to push my information on anyone. The whole company aim is to help, the same way I hope to contribute here on as many posts as I can.

Thanks to Jim for letting me know about the board and for the supportive comments.

Best wishes everyone.

Tim
