What is the name of your state? OR

I *had* an absolutely clean driving record up until now.. no tickets nothing.. but had a couple drinks and drove and unknowingly had a headlight out.... dumbbbb.

I was arrested for DUII and received diversion.
I understand that I had 10 days to contest my suspension, but was told the only way I could contest it is if the police had made some sort of mistake so I didn't contest.

I am enrolled in a college program (not just classes here or there, but a program that requires 100% attendance) and am not seeing that posted on the hardship application permit. Is there anyway at all I can be able to drive to and from school?

I would have to be a complete idiot to drive while suspended, but either way if I don't attend classes I get booted from the program, and school means everything to me. Unfortunately there is absolutely nobody that is able to drive me to and from.. i live way the hell out of the town i go to school at and none of the other students are near me.

If DMV does not work with me, can I go to a higher source (eg, judge)?
Also, has there ever been anyone you know that hasn't had to wait 30 days or so to get a hardship permit?

Please help, im desperate and do NOT want to drive suspendedWhat is the name of your state?

I concur that it appears driving to and from school are not part of the "hardship" license application process.

The hardship license is usually a DMV matter, though in OR, a judge must approve it. I imagine the court could explain the process if it chose to, but expect it would instruct you to take your inquiries to the DMV.

You should check with the DMV headquarters for clarification:
