Colorado 2nd DWAI Moving Question

Colorado. Okay here it is, i have yet to be sentanced but I have finished my community service and I still need to await to see how many classes i have to take. I know i will most likely get house arrest but my question is this. My wife and kids moved to Florida and I am wondering if anyone knows if i finish my classes and my community service, pay my fines, do my ankle braclet house arrest stuff, will I be able to tranfer my probation down to Florida? I of course want to take care of this with no loose ends in CO. but do you think i can head to FL earlier then say when i complete my most likely year of probation?

A: I doubt it. Why would Florida want Colorado's problem. But, you can always ask your probation officer. It will undoubtedly cost you a lot of money if you get it transferred.

Cost a lot of money huh? Being that it's DWAI , they would really take that seriusly... I mean not to say it's nothing but it isn't like I am some felony charge or something?

This is a question to ask your probation officer. It may be possible, but it is also possible to face duplicate fines and fees in Florida for those you already paid in CO.
