What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA

My daughter was charged in Lehigh County, PA with her 1st (and only, I hope!) DUI. She was accepted in ARD program. Is there any way that she can get a provisional (correct terminology?) license so she may get back and forth to work? She lives in an area with no public transportation and has no other way to her job? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks :)

Occupational licenses are only considered after 60 days typically. Usually the ARD-related suspension is not much longer than that.

What you should counsel her about is driving without a license. To do so will risk blowing her ARD "second chance". Not only will the full force of the original DUI come down on her, driving while suspended is a serious charge in it's own right.

And as an aside, being inconvenienced by the penalties can have a silver lining. If the penalties hurt a little, she might remember it forever. Also, this inconvenience is nothing compared to the full penalties she would face without the ARD program.
