Consumption in Public (Over 21)

What is the name of your state? Kansas

I was just wondering what the fine was for consuming alcohol in public. Also if this was a moving violation and if it would go on my driving record for insurance purposes. I was in my car outside of a bar but the keys were not in it? Any help would be appreciated.

The only help I would wish to give is to ask, WHY THE HELL ARE BARS ALLOWED TO HAVE PARKING LOTS?
