| | court battle/drinking involved What is the name of your state? MO
I almost hesitate asking help from someone, I'm doing it anyway!
Here is the story! I have a 12 year old "father not around) and last december the paternal grandparents decided to take temporary custudy due to my drinking pertaining to me being in three rehabs. I am fighting to get her back; although, they are using everthing in my past to gain sole custudy. I know what I did was wrong!
A court date "hearing" is set for the end of the month. The grandparents are targeting my drinking including a DUI to get sole, legal custudy of my child. A guardian Ad litem will be appointed that day.
I need help on what I should expect the judge may do to me that day! I am doing my best to remain "drug" free, allot of hard work, MY DAUGHTER IS WORTH IT! I totally screwed up not only my life but my childs. I am still weary if I am going to get tested. I do not intend this to happen, but what if it does? |

The first thing the judge is going to want to know is how long you have been drug-free (including America's favorite drug: alcohol).
The second thing the judge is going to want to know is if you have a full-time job so you can support this kid.

Why shouldn't you get tested?...If your daughter is worth staying sober isn't it worth drug and alcohol testing to regain custody?? | |
