court info, help appreciated

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? michigan

i posted here before, but these questions are totally different..any help would be appreciated as i appear in court in 4 days.

here are the facts as briefly as i can put them....

me and two of my friends are all officially being charged with mip, and open intox (which im not sure of the meaning....

thats all we are being charged with, buttt, we are guilthy of....

my one friend drove drunk (.04 but underage so i say drunk), i had a fake id which i used to buy the booze, and i am from canada...

apparentlly we were really agreeable to the cops as they only charged us with very little compared to what we did...

now heres my question....we go to court, wont the judge ask what happened??? im 100% not going to lie, but can they tack on charges seeing as we are dodging a HUGE bullet here with no fraud/dui? we are good kids, we admit that we f-ed up huge and plan to plead guilthy as well.

The police will testify as to what happened. If the prosecution doesn't push the other charges, keep your mouth shut. Why would you bring it up?

Get A Lawyer And Cut A Deal

The court system is busy enough, they do not want to screw around with this. Plead it out, and you are done. Keep your mouth shut, and you will be fine.

Get a lawyer, never walk into criminal court without one. He or she can advise you and handle this.

You guys got lucky, nothing PERMANANT happened. Hey a 24 year old kid, in MI, just got 43years in prison for DUI kiling a MOM and 4 KIDS.

It can happen to anybody who does the DUI dance.
