crossing the canadian border after a DWI

What is the name of your state? New York

I recently got a dwi, and was sentenced to three years of probation. However I recieved a youthful offender status, and was told once i served my three years, the DWI would be sealed in my youth record. I am now off probation, and am 21 years of age. I was just wondering if I am able to cross the border into Canada? Or will I face problems at the border.
