D.w.a.i.

I LIVE IN BRECKENRIDGE, COLORADO. I WAS STOPPED FOR A D.W.A.I. (DRIVING WHILE ABILITY IMPAIRED). DO I NEED TO HIRE A LAWYER FOR COURT? THE COP WHOM ARRESTED ME TOLD ME NO. THE COP ALSO HAS BEEN COMING INTO MY PLACE OF BUSINESS AND DISCUSSING "HOW BAD HE FEELS FOR ARRESTING ME" WITH OTHER EMPLOYEES. WHAT DO I DO? DO I FACE THE D.A. ALONE WITH THIS INFORMATION, OR HIRE A LAWYER? I DON'T MAKE MUCH MONEY BECAUSE I AM A WAITRESS AND IT IS SLOW RIGHT NOW. I BLEW A .093 IF THAT HELPS ANY. WHEN HE WAS ARRESTING ME HE KEPT SAYING THAT I WASN'T DRUNK, AND HE FELT SO BAD FOR HAVING TO HAUL ME IN. THE BAIL BONDS GUY ALSO CONFIRMED I WAS NOT DRUNK WHEN HE SIGNED ME OUT. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT, I GO TO COURT ON OCTOBER 9. THANKS!

First, turn OFF your caps key. Using a caps key for all text is considered to be SHOUTING!!! And is rude and hard to read.

Second, from his continual 'hovering' around, it sounds to me like he wants to get a date... even if you are found guilty.

Third, Colorado has three levels of DUI:
Sober: 0.005 or less
DWAI (driving ability impaired to the slightest degree): 0.005-.0099
DUI (driving under the influence: 0.010 and higher

"The criminal penalties for a Colorado dui are set forth below. These penalties are entirely separate from the administrative penalties which are covered under "License Revocation." The maximum criminal penalty for dui in colorado is one year in jail and a fine of $1500. If you are a repeat offender or have been involved in a serious accident while driving under the influence you are more likely to receive jail time if you are convicted of dui, dwai or duid. The good news is that a competent dui attorney can usually, except in extreme cases, help you to avoid jail altogether.

Offenses: DWAI
Jail Term Range: 2 days to 180 days
Mandatory Jail: None
Fines: $100 to $500
Community Service: 24 to 48 hours
Drivers License Revocation: None

With the potential penalties listed above, I would suggest you obtain competent legal counsel.

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!

Halket are those alcohol percentages too low? isnt it .05 and lower not impaired; .05-.099 impaired; and then .10 and up being under the influence?
