double jepordy?

i live in indiana and got pulled over for dui on 9/7/2003.i went to court and took care of all my tickets**************.or so i thought.the court fined me......i paid the fines**************.the court ordered me to alcohol classes and i got all but 1 class done**************..the court ordered me to 2 weekends in jail,i havnt done them yet but plan to**************and the court suspened my dl for 90 days as of 9/18/2003.so i was thinking that as of 12/18/2003 i would have all this behind me but i just got a letter from d.m.v. saying because my insurance had expired that i got another ticket (for the same event, that i did not get a ticket for that night but now 2 months latter they send me a letter saying i got another ticket for 9/7/2003) and another 90 day suspension but this one started nov 10th.the net result is that insted of a 90 day suspension i now am looking at a 150 suspension.this seems like double jepordy to me to be punished twice for the same event......is there any thing i can do to beable to drive again on 12/18/2003?

Your license was suspended for the offences you first described. Then you let your insurance expire and receive another a ticket for that and another 90 day suspension. Where is the double jepordy?

It's not double jeopardy. You received a 90 dl suspension for the DUI and a 90 day dl suspension for driving without insurance. There is no law that says these two sentences have to be given concurrently, and in this case, they weren't.
