Driving with a suspended license for an OUI

MA- Does anybody know the law now for getting pulled over while having a suspended license from an OUI. The second time being pulled over was because of an expired inspection sticker, not drunk driving, but the original reason for having no license was because of an OUI. Online it does not state the law clearly, but is being tried under Melanies Law. Even though Melanies Law states that the offender is drunk driving while on a suspended license for a previous OUI, which is not my case. Some lawyers believe that the punishment is two months. The judge has a book that says a mandatory year. It is not a clear law. Does anybody know?
