Dui

What is the name of your state? Florida

I was pulled over by an out of state New Hampshire cop on vacation due to High beams on. Was this stop legal???? It took a local Cop 3 mins to arrive. I was pulled over and waited for the locals to show up.

This happend in Monroe County Plantation Key.
Have never been in trouble and was driving a new truck.

Do I have a case?

There is nothing in your post to suggest it was not. And yes, the out of state officer (just like any other person) has the right to file a complaint with the local police and, on their complaint, have the local officer issue a citation.

Depends... were there 24 beers??

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!

Q: Do I have a case?

A: For what?

Sorry, After about 28 hours of not eating and sleeping I stopped in Ft. Lauderdale and had about 4 beers at a friends. I had to get to marathon for a meeting and check in a hotel for the next day. I was pulled over for driving erratic. I had just stoped for a coke and gas up the road and pulled over when I saw the lights.

A great nights stay in Plantation proceeded.

Explain what you mean when you say he pulled you over. When I was a police officer, I don't recall every having any police powers outside of the state I was certified in. Unless, for some reason, Florida has some kind of provision for citizen's arrest.

Was he driving his police cruiser on his vacation? How did he pull you over; did he have flashing lights and all? I think you could hire a lawyer and argue probable cause and the initial stop.

Not according to your next statement.

It seems to me that you were stopped from leaving until a local office arrived.

As you were told in the VERY first reply, nothing in your post suggests an illegal stop.

just a thought, an out of state nh cop has no jurisdiction and has the same legal rights as you or I. I don't know the laws in florida but i would assume unless it was a felony or act of violence,he had no right to pull you over. Just my opinion
