Getting caught

If you are under supervised probation, you can be tested at any time. That can include a surprise meeting at your residence by your PO. You don't just have to be caught by a cop to blow your probation. It's not worth the risk.

Our young friend here doesn't take us very seriously. Yes, he is demonstrating all of the signs of a functioning alcoholic. Yes, his chances of fulfilling his probation without incident are about 1 in 20. Yes, he has a better chance of winning Queen of the Winter Carnival than of avoiding his PO in a college town.

however, he is not going to listen to us. Heck, if he won't listen to his parents that just paid for a very expensive lawyer (and whose fees he is about to flush), he certainly won't listen to us.
