I got a 'driving after consuming under 21 charge' in NC around July of '04'. I currently live in Washington State where i am now a legal resident and vehicle is registered. My question... Am i still paying for That 'DUI' with my auto insurance rate? What is the difference with WA, and NC Laws concerning this?

Thanks,
Matt

You'll need to ask your insurance company. Even if you are not paying a surcharge, you are probably losing a "good driver" discount. If you are required to carry an SR22, then you are still paying for it. If you have been relegated to the high risk company then you are still paying for it.
