DUI conviction question

What is the name of your state? MI

Hello, I am brand new to the forums here. I have some questions regarding license re-instatement. I have 2 dui convictions in the last 7 years(horrible, horrible mistakes made when i was young and dumb) my most recent conviction was 4 years ago, since then i have tried twice with the review board to be reinstated, both times, denied. So my question is this, would I be able to get a new license in a state that doesnt share the Interstate Driver's License compact? I have been planning on moving out of state and thought maybe I could regain my license in another state that is not apart of the DLC.

Thank you in advance for your response..

I figured I wouldn't be able too. Is there anything else I can do besides going in front of the review board again?

Did the review board (I am guessing DMV) give you a reason why you were denied? If it has been 4 years, maybe you should request a hearing with DMV and take it to superior court for your county if you have to. You should get a lawyer for this. Did you have a lawyer with you at your review board? Many times DMV will ask questions that are not related to the general statutes and deny you based on how you answer those questions, that is why it is helpful to have an attorney present for the DMV hearing. Basically, you are convicted in criminal court and then you are also on trial with DMV and their version of court.
