DUI Evaluation and Past - Effect of Risk Level on Supervision

What is the name of your state? IL

17 years ago I was arrested for DUI in Illinois but it was thrown out because I passed all chemical testing so there was no supervision nor suspension of my license. I also had a conviction on possession of a small amount of cannabis at that time.

When I go to my evaluation I will be honest but wondered if things that are no longer a part of my current lifestyle will automatically put me in a higher risk category even though the cannabis has not been a part of my life since that year and my current drinking pattern is seldom.

And will a higher risk jeopardize my chances at supervision and JDP in my state?

My response:

Apparently, it's not "seldom" enough for you to NOT get pulled over and arrested for drunk driving!

What makes you think we would help a drunk driver?

Litigation ...

What is this forum all about? Maybe I'm missing something, but this person just asked a simple question and all you were able to offer is a smart ass statement like that.

Have you honestly ever attempted to seriously answer someones question in this DUI forum ... or do you have an alternative agenda that causes you to post statements like this?

Are you now speaking for the other members of this forum?

My response:

You're right. I'm only speaking for those people who don't want to be killed, injured or maimed as the result of a stupid-ass drunk driver. I'm guessing that's not you.

So, carry on. Help a drunk. Get killed. I don't give a flying fuk about people like you.

You ARE missing something!! The questions asked:
1) Have NOTHING to do with the law (the purpose of this forum), and
2) They are so localized and subjective that no one can answer them (unless someone viewing this forum just happens to work with THAT court in THAT state!).

Yep. IAAL has proven his worth on this forum 100's of times. When the hell did you... in your all of TWO posts (your other post is where YOU say YOU are a drunk driver!!!)??

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!

Litigation ... If these drunk drivers bother you so much, maybe it's time to move on to another forum/board that you can interact a little more positively in. You obviously are not contributing a thing here.

MG63 ... Sorry to be highjacking your thread. Hopefully someone here will be of assistance to you now.

My response:

Let me repeat:

"You're right. I'm only speaking for those people who don't want to be killed, injured or maimed as the result of a stupid-ass drunk driver. I'm guessing that's not you.

So, carry on. Help a drunk. Get killed. I don't give a flying fuk about people like you."

What don't you understand about my response? How come I don't see YOU helping this, or any, drunk driver? Because if you do, and I see it, I will come after you on this forum like "stink on crap."

JETX ....

The statement was made; "What makes you think we would help a drunk driver"?

I just don't seem to get it ... If nobody on this DUI forum would want to help a drunk driver with a question (as stated above), what does the forum provide?

Maybe I'm wrong, but after reading other replies that "Litigation" has posted, he seems to just have an 'attitude' against anyone that has a DUI and would rather chastize them for there past actions rather than be of help ... as in this thread.

I have no idea whether or not this board has active moderators, but if you want to ban me ... have at it

My response:

Gee, you ARE getting it!

You're damned right I have "an attitude" when it comes to idiot, low-life, scumbags (perhaps you) who want to help drunks get back on the road that will inevitably endanger me, my friends, children, adults, dogs, cats, and anything else on the roadway because THEY think they're entitled to do those things. Bull crap!!

Oh, and the owners of this forum realize that some of the categories are idiotic - - like the drunk driving category.

Don't like it? Don't come back.

This will be my last post. It suprises me the the moderators allow you to go after the very people that come here to get info in the first place. Kinda goes against what the forum was set up to accomplish in the first place.

And if the owners of this board think the DUI forum is idiotic like you state ... It suprises me that they even keep it open ... Well, it provides one thing ... a forum that you can spew your drivel.

Actually, I was wrong. It is more like 1,000's of times. And EVERY post that IAAL has made on this forum had more value than YOURS. You have:
1) Started your own post about YOU being a drunk driver, and
2) Pissed and moaned on this thread without ANY value at all.

So, guess what?? IAAL has proven himself of far more value to others on this forum than YOU have. And yet, YOU continue to piss and bitch??

And it surprises ME that idiots like you somehow think that this forum is to help you drunks get back on the road to endanger the rest of us.

did you know that there are lawyers who....

IAAL:
Did you know that there are lawyers who defend drunk drivers and murderers and drug users and even child molesters for a living? Some of them even chose their profession to help people! I bet you'd prefer that we eliminate the justice system altogether and just say these people are all guilty - final say, no trial or anything.

If you think that way I suggest you move to another country - like Afghanistan.

It sounds like you've been personally hurt by a drunk driver - I suggest therapy for you. You spend lots and lots of time posting on this board. Perhaps that is a way for you to heal, but you really should move on with your life. The people who were arrested for drunk driving on this board didn't hurt you. As long as there is alcohol and cars there will be drunk drivers. Nothing you can do or say to change that.

The purpose of this board is to offer advice to those who have been arrested for drunk driving. Sometimes these people do need defense because they shouldn't have been arrested. Hate to break it to ya, but there are corrupt cops in this world.

Sorry I just think you need to view the world as it really is and not as the wannabe-utopia you so hope that it is.
