DUI Expungment?

What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? NC

I am a 48 year old male who can not operate a motor vehicle in the State of North Carolina. My drivers license has been "permanently revoked" because of (3) three DUI (Driving Under the Influence) convictions. I have been arrested 3 times, and I have been found guilty 3 times!

I truly believe the reason I have never had any of the charges dropped is due to the fact "I was to cheep to hire an Attorney to represent me". Instead, I had the court appoint a "Public Defender", and quite frankly they must not of cared to much because I lost! I know several people who have been charged with DUI, but because they paid an Attorney a couple thousand $$$$, they walked! I know what your going to say before you even say it; money talks, %$&* walks!!!

My question is this; can I "beg" the court for an expungment, or can an Attorney do anything for me like reopen or challenge one of the Defenders? The last DUI I got was in 1993. I have not been in any trouble since. Fact is, I am now married, got two kids, I work from my home designing Fire Alarm & Fire Suppression Systems, and most importantly I do not drink anymore. My wife left me for one week, a year ago October 14, 2004. The terms of her coming back was my quitting drinking "Cold Beer"! It was a tough decision because I like beer, but I love my family more so "I have been alcohol free since"!

I appreciate any help or suggestions.

I don't think anyone responsa cuz we have discussed this a couple million times. In the toolbar above use the search feature and type in expungement and read some of the threads. There is a site in those threads that tells the basis for an expungement.

Sounds like your doing well though, great job good family.... You just can't get around.
