DUI in PA

What is the name of your state (NJ)?

I got a DUI in PA, but I'm a resident of NJ. It was my first offense and my BAC was .157

I waived my prelim hearing today and applied for ARD...as per my lawyer's advice.

Looks like my license will be revoked for 60 days in PA. Any of you "gurus" know what actions NJ will take once they catch wind of this...will my license be suspended?

Thanks for any help.

If you fail to meet ARD requirements, the DA will proceed with prosecution. NJ should only take action upon a conviction. If NJ takes action based on ARD you can and should contest it with a NJ lawyer in an administrative hearing. Since your BAC is under .16, PA (at least in Phila) revokes driving privileges for 30 days & you get 6 mos probation. PennDOT will send you a letter that you sign & return acknowledging your PA suspension along with 25 bucks. Your 30 days starts from the postmark date on your reply. If you don't get the letter it likely means they don't have your correct & current address and your suspension begins anyway, without credit. If you don't get that letter, it will be in your best interest to call PennDOT. If you want your ARD to go smooth, be honest at the CRN eval and D&A assessment.

and jersey's IRDC classes, assessments, and rules are about as logical as a blind man playing darts. their staff could be some of the worst and unintelligent I have come across yet. jersey sucks. except for the beach.
