Don't do the crime if you can't do the time! The questions you ask are questions you should have asked yourself before you got busted for a DUI.You where already on probation? If you have a drug problem you need to think about gitting some help to quit.Go into a drug rehab program,or ask the judge about you going into one.

This is where things get a little complex. First offense DUI carries minimum penalties such as probation, DUI classes, fines and suspension of license. It can include higher fines and even jail time. That's partly up to the judge during adjudication. One of the things he or she might look at is your record, and that can result in increased penalties. That is something that is impossible to predict. I would talk to an attorney in this case.

DUI on probation

I hope you have a good attorney! The court system takes DUI convictions very serious. With or without an attorney, you can expext the maxium of 15 days in jail with a hefty fine considering you were on probation at the time. This is only this is your first probation violation. What ever you do.....Never drink and drive AGAIN! not only could any of us kill someone or ourselves, a second DUI will cause you to lose your license if they don't revoke it due to the first DUI.. considering YOU were on probation.

I wish I could be more helpful, but this is real life. Obviously you realize the serious of what is happening to you. Let's hope this is a lesson learned.

Summing things up.....Yes, jail time, fines, No question you will spend money on random UA's once a week! Settle down and or seek some professioal help, and prepare a life of soberiety! If you DO NOT, things only get worse for yourself, not to mention your loved ones.

I sincerly hope things turn out the best for you.
