DUI in Reno, NV

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Nevada

Hello,

Yesterday I was arrested and received a DUI in Reno, NV. I was almost home and got pulled over due to the fact that I had a busted headlight. I blew a 1.0. It seemed like a pretty straight-up procedure. Should I bother getting a lawyer to try to get it reduced? Is it even worth it to pay more money for something if it might not help? I also blew exactly 1.0 twice again at the station. Any help would be much appreciated. This is my first offense.

1.0 is lucky to be alive level. You mean 0.10%.

Your chances of getting it reduced are very slim, unless you can prove that the stop was illegal or that the equipment used in both tests was faulty. You should, however, not go into court without legal counsel.
