DUI and restricted license, one last question (advice needed)

What is the name of your state? CA
Ok I think I finally get it. Long story short, I was convicted of an under 21 DUI by the DMV and had my license suspended for one year. After numerous continuations, I was convicted by the court of a first offense DUI and was to have my driver's license restricted for 90 days and to attend a DUI program. I am currently enrolled in a DUI program, and have been driving to work, my program, and home according to the court's decision. But after reviewing this forum, I am starting to believe that even though the court restricted my license, that I am still not allowed to drive AT ALL. Here are my two questions:
1) If in fact my restr. license isn't valid, how do I make it valid?

2) Even if I never secure my restr. license and was pulled over, couldn't I just argue that I was following the court's orders?
