I moved to Idaho in 2012 and a couple months after moving there I received a DUI. I still had my California license and my attorney advised me to get an Idaho license before court and before my license was suspended. So I did. I completed all requirements of my DUI in Idaho and so they reversed my guilty plea and removed it from my record and I did not have to carry an SR22 on my insurance. I moved to back to California and got my drivers license transferred back. My insurance company said that now 4 years later California suspended my license and they are going to cancel my insurance. Does anyone know why California would be getting involved now? I don't really know where to start. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You'd have to contact the California DMV. Most likely, they still have some record from Idaho that you are (perhaps administratively) suspended there.
