Dwi

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida. If a person is stopped inside a closed park with the access gates locked is this still considered a public road?

Yea It Is - Drunk In Public

You were still in public right, and you were still on a road right, and that would lead one to conclude you are on a public road, would it not?

You gotta DUI, and now you gotta dance, so get a lawyer, research the laws of your state, and get ready to dance.

The music is gonna start, and you better be ready to dance.

The DUI and Public Road play, has been done before as well, and that never works. Your BAC, and your control of your vehicle, has nothing to do with what road you are on, when they catch you.

Get a lawyer, your are gonna need one.

Yes you can

Yes, you can get a DUI inside a State or National Park. You can also get an open container citation inside these parks in FL.

So what you guys are saying is that you can get a DUI anywhere? If I'm parked in my driveway with the keys in my purse, can I get a DUI? What if I'm in the parking lot of my company's office building complex? Just curious - I thought you had to actually have the keys in the ignition to be considered "driving", hence the "D" in DUI.

Yea You Can - They Can Always Hook You And Charge!

You blow hot, you go!

Then you gotta pay to fight it.

Now the question comes, why did they find a reason to have to ask, if you are drunk?

If you give them a reason to ask, they will.

They have popped DUI, on bikes, horses, golf carts, and frikken wheel chairs.

Google DUI, Google News, and read about it.

They can always hook you, arrest and detain - then you gotta pay to fight it.

Pay to play, and if you play with them, you are gonna pay.

If you never go to the dance, they can never ask you to dance to the song, they will play.

Food for thought only!

The kitchen is always open.

Great Question CURT581

So if the place is closed, and you are there, and you are drunk off your ass, the questions the cops will ask is this:

Why are you here tonight?

And have you been drinking?

I mean come on, if the place was closed, why were you there?

I mean if nobody is supposed to be there, cause the place is closed, and you are there, and the cops show up, I mean come on.

Your BAC, can answer that question to them, and they know.

Think like the system, not like a victim.

Ha ha ha ha

Good one Curt!

Camping

I've gone camping with friends in many of the FL state and national parks. You're allowed to be there after dark, they sometimes even give you a gate code so you can come and go. That's not unusual. Many of these do not allow alcohol, though many people still bring in coolers full of the stuff and enjoy the al fresco party. Still, you can be cited for open container, minor in possession, and yes, DUI within these parks.

If The Engine Is Warm - They Are Going To Swarm

You blow hot, they got!

If you cannot pass when you blow, you are gonna go.

Then ya get to dance.

And they will get into your pants, if you cannot dance.

If you never go to the dance, they can never invite you.

Keep the engine as cold as the beers you drink, and you will be fine.

Just food for thought.

Hey RatPackLiar - Is any of that intended to answer my questions? I'm still not sure!! I guess what I want to know is, if you don't even have your keys in the ignition, how can you be considered driving? Also, isn't private property off-limits to police unless you specifically ask for them to patrol it?

No Keys In - Yea You Can Be Hit On DUI

It happens all the time, and they do charge and hit, with this, it is called:

Physical Control of a Vehicle,

Check your state laws, but it does happen.

The car had to get there somehow right?

Who do you think they, the cops, think, the person was, who drove said car, to said spot?

The drunk fool, passed on in the front seat, who owns the car?

Get a lawyer who knows DUI laws, in your state, and get ready to pay, and to dance.

Can you beat it, perhaps, but again, you are going to have to pay a lawyer to fight that one.

Alwys fight on crap like that.

If they know you are going to fight them, they will, dance with you, and knock it down.
