DWI Accident

I recently was in a automobile accident with another vehicle. I was arrested for DWI. No one was hurt. Can they sew me and could I possibly loose my home. Also, will my auto ins pay for the damages for both cars or can they deny the repairs.

Your insurance has to pay for damages. They may very well cancel your policy, but they should cover this accident.

Anyone can sue another person as long as they have damages and can fault the other person. It is possible that there's a lawyer somewhere now who is contacting them, or will be. many PI law firms only take cases with good insurance coverage, and usually aim for the policy limits. Not often do they bother trying to get at personal assets. In some cases of wrongful death or extreme injuries, sometimes a jury will award the victim's family far more than the policy can cover, then they end up with a large judgment against the defendant.

Thank you for your reply bigmistake...it wasnt a big accident...no one got hurt and there vehicle didnt have much damage.
