DWI in New Jersey, (first or second offense?)

I am a resident in PA, i went to the jersey shore for the weekend, i got a DWI. I am 21 years old and i got arrested in PA for an underage drinking 2 years ago. does this affect me at all. Will i be charged with a second offense DWI?

Also I blew a .21, and am charged with reckless driving, DWI, and wrong way on a one way street. Do ou think i need to get a lawyer. I have no money to do this. I was planning on taking classes in pa prior to the court hearing adn then showing up and telling them that i have taken the first action, am about to graduate college and have job. Will that help at all?

If the underage didn't have driving or a vehicle involved, no, you probably won't be charged with a second offense.

A lawyer might be able to help. Whether it's worth it or not is entirely up to you.

Having a job and graduating college won't help you much, if at all. Taking the class now will only get it out of the way. It won't earn you any leniency, if that's what you're hoping. Especially at that BAC level.
