DWI in NY

NEw York

I got a DWI last weekend, i dont know what i blew on the breathalizer but i dont think it was much over the limit. Basically what am i looking at? I do have a lawyer, will see him in a few days. I also got an open container ticket, i wasnt drinking in the car, i dont know when the can was from but it was empty. I know it was poor judgement and a huge mistake. This is my first DWI btw. Just wanted to know what may or may not happen with my license and fines etc. Thanks for your help.

Hopefully your lawyer can get it lowered .

NY has gotten tough on DWI .

my date isnt until Nov 24. Does anyone know if my license is currently suspended automatically? I didnt get anything in the mail or at the time of the arrest, but they did physically take my license. a few days after it happended i did call the local PD, they said my license currently was valid in the computer system just dont know if that was to soon for it to have been processed.
