End Of Probation???What is the name of your state? CA Hi, I got my first DUI last July. I was put on probation and had to complete community service hours, aa meetings, all kinds of things. April 28th I turn all of my stuff into my PO, but i dont go to court until May 30th. Does this mean i am off probation when i turn my stuff in, or when i go to court in may? |

| Ask your PO.

In fact, you are so astonishingly correct in this matter, it will not surprise us one bit if you are offered a generous settlement, because, by golly, that’s just how it should be. | The court loses jurisdiction over you when your probation expires. If you have a court date in May, then you have to, still, be on probation as of that date. Check your sentencing paperwork - probation continues for (usu) 3 years or 5 years from the date of your sentencing. |

BigMistakeFlIn my state, the probation begins on the day of adjudication by the judge. Count forward from that point. (Six months, one year, etc.) As above posters pointed out though, this is a good question for your PO. He or she will absolutely know the expiration date. |
